Travelling with a drone is something you don't necessarily do willy nilly, a little bit of research will ensure you don't get yourself into trouble.
When my wife and I were planning a trip to New Zealand, of course I was going to be going nuts with taking photos but I wanted to make sure I was ok to get some from above as well as on the ground.
New Zealand's UAV laws are almost identical to Australia's, not too dissimilar to other places around the world but the big caveat is the national parks which are governed by their Department of Conservation, DOC for short.
